Cole Palmer is absolutely killing it this season. Last Friday, he snagged the Premier League Player of the Month award for September, after helping Chelsea rack up three wins and a draw in four games.
Palmer’s been on a scoring spree, netting five goals across those four matches: one against West Ham (3-0) and a whopping four against Brighton (4-2).
He even made history as the first player in Premier League history to score a first-half hat-trick.

At 22, this attacking midfielder is in insane form. In an interview with Goal, he shared some insights into his soccer idols and personal picks.
Growing up, Palmer wanted to be Lionel Messi, and when asked who’s the GOAT—Messi or Cristiano—he didn’t hesitate: “For me, Lionel Messi.”
“I wanted to be Lionel Messi when I was a child.”

When it comes to the best player right now? Palmer’s putting his money on Vinicius Jr or Mbappé, but ultimately chose Mbappé as his top pick.
And when asked the high-stakes question, “If your life depended on a penalty, who would take it?” Palmer didn’t miss a beat: “Me.”
