Aryna Sabalenka just made history, becoming the first-ever player to win the Wuhan Open three times! The 26-year-old from Belarus fought hard to claim victory against China's rising star Zheng Qinwen in an epic final on Sunday.

In a rematch of their Australian Open showdown earlier this year, where Sabalenka also came out on top, the two battled it out once again. After a rollercoaster three-set match, Sabalenka secured her fourth title of 2024, winning 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.

With this win, she stays undefeated in Wuhan and couldn't be happier. “That sounds crazy,” Sabalenka said, reflecting on her accomplishment.

“This place definitely feels like home. I am pretty sure we are going to play many more finals against one another.”
