Max Holloway isn’t holding back ahead of his epic fight against Ilia Topuria at UFC 308, set for October 26 in Abu Dhabi.
Holloway, the current “Baddest MF” (BMF) champ after his insane KO of Justin Gaethje at UFC 300, made sure Topuria knows who the real BMF is in a recent Instagram post.

During a fiery interview with Brendan Fitzgerald, Topuria placed a BMF belt on his shoulder, but Holloway fired back on IG, saying his belt was “earned, not bought.”
Topuria, aka “El Matador,” is riding high after securing the UFC featherweight title with a knockout of Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298 in February.
The undefeated Topuria (15-0) is on a 7-0 streak in the UFC and looks unstoppable.
Holloway, who once held the featherweight belt before losing it to Volkanovski, has been on a redemption arc since his last loss in their trilogy at UFC 276 in 2022. Since then, “Blessed” has gone 3-0, with wins over Gaethje, Arnold Allen, and Chan Sung Jung.
